The left is already attacking Wayne Anderson
June 5th, 2007 - Written by Joey

I honestly didn’t think that it would happen this quickly, but the left is already waging a full-scale war against Wayne Anderson, our local hero from Frederic, Wisconsin, who is going to Iraq – on his own dime – to report some of the good things that are happening in Iraq.
I contemplated not wasting any time or space in my blog on this, but what they are saying needs to be answered. Liberal blogs everywhere are discrediting him by calling him a small-town newspaper hack, a neo-con, and an idiot. The hateful spew that is coming from their keyboards shows their true feelings, which are basically that they want failure in Iraq, if for nothing else than to justify their scathing hate for anything remotely conservative or Pro-American.
In classic liberal fashion, the ‘ever-accepting, peaceful, love-everyone’ lefties are out to poop on anything that may be positive in relation to the Iraq War. Their desire for failure in Iraq is stronger than the love of their country, or for their mock-concern for our troops.
You have all seen the ‘death tolls’ on liberal websites and on the news, which are nothing more than a celebration of presumed failed policy by the Bush Administration. They use the lives of our troops in beyond-the-pale fashion, to push forth their own hateful agenda. This is why I knew that once Wayne Anderson’s story was heard, the liberals would be in full-scale assault mode.
I find this fascinating, due to the fact that Mr. Anderson has nothing to gain from his trip, and possibly everything to lose, including the thousands of dollars that he has spent on this mission and even his own life. So here’s my question to the liberals out there: What is so wrong with trying to find good news about Iraq? Everything we hear about the war are death tolls, roadside bombs, and hostage-taking. Everything. So why is ONE MAN who has decided to attempt to find something good over there all of a sudden so despised?
Did any of you liberals ever stop to think that the troops – who ARE accomplishing so much over there – would find it a little bit nice for the people back home to see what a good job they’re doing? How would you like it if you went to work everyday, putting your life on the line, and all anyone ever talked about was how your mission was a failure, and that the things you were doing in your job that were really changing things for the better were ignored and downplayed by perceived failures?
Why don’t you just come right out and say it? YOU WANT FAILURE IN IRAQ. You want more troops to die, because it adds to your list of reasons why this war is ‘evil’. You want more roadside bombs to explode, because it validates the supposed inability for Iraq to have a functioning democracy. You hope for carnage, death, and desctruction and for what? To prove that ‘your side is right’ and that George W. Bush is a moron. What a sick, twisted logic you have.
You are the scum of America, and I’m not afraid to say it. You all make me sick to my stomach. The truth is that you are afraid of what Wayne Anderson will report because it may just prove that the media - and you - truly want failure in Iraq and are willing to under-report and ignore any good that is happening over there.
I have never been able to fully convince myself that it was a great idea to invade Iraq, but we’re there, and damn it, if we’re accomplishing good things over there, we need to hear about it.
So if you can’t say anything decent about a man who is willing to risk everything for something he believes in, shut your mouth or pay for your own ticket to Iraq. It’s real easy for you to sit there in your cozy home, in front of your computer screen and blast a man with far more guts and nobility than you have in your little pinky.

It makes me sick. I’m glad you picked up on this too. I noted a couple of incoming links to me from some blogs that pretty brutally slammed Wayne while citing yours and mine original blog posts as fuel.
It’s absolutely terrible that these liberal morons can’t let things be. Wayne is causing no harm and is simply going out to find good. Is that what is so threatening to these people? They don’t want the good?
Of course, they claim that the media reports fairly. They claim that the media DOES report both sides of the story, it’s just that there isn’t that much good over there which is why we don’t hear about it.
It makes me absolutely sick.
Check out this one… It references both of us…

Yeah, I saw it.
I try to never link to these freaks, though, because I don’t want to drive more traffic to their blogs than necessary.
Most of the blogs that are being disrespectful to Wayne are ones whose complete focus in life is bringing down Jessica McBride, a conservative professor at Marquette University. Any time a blog’s entire focus is to bring another person down, I think their true colors come shining through.
Jessica actually has a great blog: http://mcbridemediamatters.blogspot.com/
Check it out if you get the chance.
I also noticed that the comments on Wayne’s story at the Pioneer Press’s website are sickening, too. These people are scumbags. They’re afraid of anything that might discredit them.

I can’t wait to read what he has to say. If anyone knows how to get in conact I’d love to get permission to spread his stories when ever he submits them.
I can’t say that I’ve read these hateful comments but it doesn’t surprise me. I’ve been called all those names also and I’m a nobody. Luckily I don’t really care what people think of me. Which is part of why I would never get elected to public office.(plus I’d have to start hating myself)

Mack,
Arclightzero and I will be posting his stories on our blogs, so you can get them from us and then forward them in emails, or if you have a blog, you can join “Bloggers for Wayne” by posting our logo on your website: http://www.pheistyblog.com/bloggers-for-wayne/
I could never run for public office, either, Mack. I’m too opinionated.
