Oh, he’s thick-skinned, alright…and he knows better than to come home crying to mama.
Funny thing is, the last time he wore this shirt to school (sometime before the election), most of the kids couldn’t figure out what it said. Some thought it said, “Hippie”. Others didn’t know what the word “hype” meant. But every one of them was in love with Barack Obama. Irony is the sweetest revenge.
And to “D”…Keep up the good fight, hon. Don’t let them get you down. You’re standing up for what you believe in when what you believe in isn’t popular. That takes character, which is sorely lacking in our culture.
Good for you! I applaud your son and you for taking a stand. How long did it take before a school “official” made him turn it inside out???
You go!

Good for him! I am going to wear all of my McCain-Palin stuff to school tomorrow!

Bravo! We’ll expect a full report on the ‘tolerance’ encountered.

Good for him–as long as he’s thick skinned enough to endure a few shouts and fingers. (You can’t be a rebel and the cry about it, that’s what I say.)

May God have mercy on his soul . . . and the “tolerant” one’s, as well.

We do require an after-action report (which is what I fear it will amount to).

The hysteria in the UK has been sickening this week, indeed the BBC has been renamed the Barack Broadcasting Corporation!
The real people however do not trust him at all.
Good luck, I think we will all need it.
