Bite Me, Al Gore.

Notice my grill, which was covered and waiting for that first bit of above 60 degree Wisconsin weather to break it in for the season. That is, until a wicked winter (spring) blizzard blew the cover off.
I have no idea where it is. If it’s smart, it probably blew on down to Florida, and is enjoying some of that illusive global warming I keep hearing so much about.

I made calculations of the amount of atmosphere around earth, assuming the useful layer of air is 90 mi thick. This results in more than 18 billion cubic mi of atmosphere around Earth. Then, assuming there are 600 million cars, using 50 tanks of gas per year (on averge, no trucks), each tank producing 30^3=27,000 cu ft of CO/CO2, the pollution ratio would become 2.72 parts per trillion (if I did my arithmetic correctly). Multiply this by 100 year if you want, you still get a very small amount of CO2 in the air. Of course, there are also trucks, machinery, etc., contributing to this. But the odds of fauling up the air by driving too much is pure fable. Admittedly, coal fired plants contribute lots more CO2, and I have looked into that also by getting the number of plants in the world, and calculating the tons of CO2 they produce. It turns out to be a much greater source of CO2, but much of it is taken up by lakes, rivers and the ocean, and by plants and forests. Then, the theories of how it affects global heating is not clear at all, the models are still being “corrected” all the time. So much for the overblown alarm on the subject.

Good Looking Grill!!! I hear what you are saying. I live in oregon and we are experiencing global warming over here too. Was snowing in the mtns. yesterday and down to elevations of 3500 ft. AND ITS MAY! My big problem is all the stupid people that buy into this. Just blows my mind. If we had the “ice age” and it came and went, where did all the cars go? Oh, there weren’t any cars ten thousand years ago! Hummmm, and the earth warmed! Hummmmm, how did that happen? Can you say “DOT.COM” BUST!!!!

Bravo…the return of skepticism warms the cockles of my heart…
For its only skepticism which keeps people from being taken to the cleaners by blowhard, con artists and bullies like Al Gore.
Skepticism enables Democracy to work…..be true to your self, not even waterboarding can take that away from you…
Realize what a pathetic, empty suite that Gore is. With out people who he can intimidate, manipulate and who blindly follow him…he doesnt know who he is…inside still just a little boy whose Daddy didnt love him…
