Nick posted this graphic (from the National Taxpayers Union Foundation) over on his site, and I was so amazed by it, that I had to post it here.
Ron Paul makes the other candidates look like a bunch of young bimbos who were just let loose in Nieman Marcus with their sugar daddies’ credit cards.
(Better hide the Manolo Blahniks from Obama and Clinton.)

Except a big chunk of his spending cuts are based on surrendering and retreating from Iraq, no?

Leaving Iraq? Yeah, I’m sure that has something to do with it, although I’m sure that most of the reductions in spending are on government handouts, ethanol subsidies, social programs, education, and corporate welfare. We spent more on education last year than on national defense.

It’s funny how the dems hate spending unless they’re the ones doing it. Haven’t we listened to them whine about how the Bush administration has destroyed the budget and plunged us into debt?
I guess it’s ok if it’s for the greater good, right?
