One More Reason to Cheer for the Giants
January 29th, 2008
"Before the assembled press horde, Patriot superstar Tom Brady, a.k.a. the best quarterback ever, urged people to be more responsible. But he wasn’t just talking about sports stars. He urged everyone to go see Al Gore’s tedious opus, "An Inconvenient Truth," because "it really is the truth." He then bragged about/confessed to driving a hybrid."
– Michael Goldfarb, The Weekly Standard
Right about now, I’d like to take Tom Brady and stick his butt out on my front porch in the "balmy" -40 degree temps, and lock him out there until he recants. (By my guess, this should take around 3.3 seconds.)
I rest my case.
Go Giants!

Oh good god in heaven. I’m not a Patriots fan per se, but I’m not one of those super avid Patriot’s haters. They’re bar none the most talented team in football right now and I enjoy watching them play (the same reason I enjoy watching the Celtics play right now. That and I’m so happy to see Kevin Garnett get a team around him that he deserves. Go Kevin Garnett, you rock. Oh and why is Boston dominating like… every sport?). But are you serious? Tom Brady is a damn tree hugging kool aid chugger? BAH! I need to go listen to some Ted Nugent interviews or something.
Oh and go Giants. I’m just dissapointed Tiki Barber retired a year before he could have got his ring.

Criminy! They might be talented on the field, but obviously not led by the brightest bulb.
GO GIANTS!

Now let’s be fair, on the field Tom Brady is the brightest bulb this side of Peyton Manning. On the field.
I guess he failed to realize that there’s little to no correlation betwixt (yeah I said betwixt. It’s an awesome word, feel free to use it in casual conversation) throwing a football and understanding meteorological science.
Oh, and go Browns… next year… just like every other year…
